8 Irish celebrities with their dog equivalents

What-Dog.net is the website of our dreams.

ALWAYS WONDERED what kind of dog you’d be, if you were indeed a dog? Wonder no more.

The website what-dog.net was set up to recognise dogs by breed, but you can also use it to see what dog you most closely resemble.

People are wholly on board.

The site was set up by the same crowd who made the infamous how-old.net, which ruined many lives last year.

We decided to put some well-known Irish faces through what-dog.net, and the results are delightful. Whether they’re right or not is up to you.

Enda Kenny

‘Driven to prey on smaller creatures’. OOF.

Miriam O’Callaghan

irish water spaniel

Miriam has just about the most ‘robust work ethic’ of anyone in Ireland. Bang on.

Hozier

‘Gets along with just about everyone’. Well, we haven’t met anyone who didn’t love a bit of Hozier, to be sure.

Joan Burton

‘Excellent sense of smell’. Congrats, Joan.

Ryan Tubridy

Surprising, but ‘must be kept busy, intense’ cannot be argued with.

Micheál Martin

michaeldog

‘Can cause damage when jumping’. Please watch out for wild Micheál Martins on the campaign trail, folks.

Saoirse Ronan

saoirsedog

‘Needs to be told and told again’ – nonsense. We’re sure Saoirse gets it in one take.

And Gerry Adams

gerryadams2

‘Face of a werewolf.’ Dying.
